The role

As our Product Designer (Visual/UI focus), you will take ownership of UI and visual design across web and mobile products, while contributing to the creation of our design system. You will collaborate closely with product manager and developers to ensure designs are intuitive, visually polished, consistent, and scalable.

Your work will span the full product design lifecycle, from understanding user needs and product requirements, to wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI designs, and final implementation. You will also help establish components, patterns, and visual standards that ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.

What will you do?

Design delivery & Figma mastery

• Own the visual design and branding across all digital touchpoints, ensuring consistency and cohesion throughout the product

• Maintain our Figma ecosystem, ensuring files are organized, consistent, and development-ready

• Build, evolve, and maintain our design system, creating reusable components and scalable visual standards

• Translate product and design deliverables into clear, build-ready tasks for developers

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure smooth handoffs and technically feasible designs

• Keep our design library and visual standards aligned with brand and UI guidelines

Cross-department collaboration

• Act as the go-to designer for UI/visual design needs across the company

• Turn business needs into structured design briefs for internal or external design partners

• Manage design priorities, timelines, and feedback loops across stakeholders

QA & implementation support

• Conduct design QA during and after development to ensure designs match final implementation

• Check for responsiveness, consistency, and attention to detail across devices and browsers

• Collaborate closely with developers to achieve pixel-perfect execution

Documentation & continuous improvement

• Maintain a structured design backlog, documenting inconsistencies, visual updates, and improvements

• Identify legacy areas and propose modern UI/visual enhancements

• Contribute to motion, interaction, and micro-interaction polish to elevate the user experience

What will you bring?

• You live in the Netherlands (Amsterdam-based or nearby )and are available to work from the office at least 3 days per week

• 2+ years of experience in product design with strong UI/visual focus

• Proven experience in web and mobile product design, with attention to visual polish and usability

• Hands-on experience creating UI components, icons, and visual assets

• Understanding of design systems and component-based UI design, with ability to build scalable systems from scratch

• Strong Figma skills, including components, libraries

• You will also bring outstanding prototyping skills, helping to translate ideas into interactive, testable experiences that guide product decisions

• Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools is a plus

• Experience collaborating closely with developers and product teams

• Strong attention to detail in typography, color, layout, and interaction design

• Fluency in English

Nice to have

• Previous experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or digital product companies

• Knowledge of accessibility standards

• A good eye for branding, motion, and interaction polish

This is a full-time position (40h/week) based in Amsterdam, available as soon as possible.
